Welcome to Glengarry Elementary School

School supply lists for 2014-2015 are now available.

Parents, we need your feedback!
We need to update our Parent Compact and Parent Policy for the 2014-2015 school year. Parent involvement in this process is very important. A copy of the Compact and the Policy will be sent home this Friday. We also have a bulletin board in the main lobby with copies of each document.
If you would like to suggest any changes, please contact Mrs. Ward at 360-2900 x125 or email

Reading Clinic
Glengarry has been chosen to host a MNPS reading clinic.  The clinic provides an opportunity for volunteers to help our K-2 students improve their reading skills.  Volunteers will work with a student for 30 minutes once a week.  Training, materials, and assistance will be provided for all volunteers.  For more information on the clinics and how to volunteer please review our reading clinic flyers.

A message from our principal:

At Glengarry, our parents, Pencil Partners, and community work with us so we can accomplish our mission. I often brag that we have the best behaved students in Nashville, and I know that it’s because their parents care deeply about them getting a strong education.

Come visit us and find out how to be involved. You are now a Glengarry Eagle. We soar!
- Ms. Laurie Smith, Principal
